How it works

A full AllPlay Party game takes about twenty minutes. Here is every step, in order.

1. Step 1: A host creates a private room

   Pick your game, mode, intensity, rounds and timer. The room is invite only.

2. Step 2: Friends join with a short code

   Codes are five characters and avoid look-alike and sound-alike characters.

3. Step 3: The host starts the game

   Everyone is moved into the game together.

4. Step 4: The system selects a player fairly

   Turn order rotates, and players who sit out are skipped without comment.

5. Step 5: The player chooses Truth or Dare

   Two large buttons, keyboard shortcuts, or your own voice input when it is enabled.

6. Step 6: The prompt is shown and spoken

   Text appears on screen. If you have turned voice feedback on, it is also read aloud.

7. Step 7: Complete, skip, swap or sit out

   All four options are equal. Nothing is scored against you.

8. Step 8: The game moves to the next player

   The change is announced politely, and your place on the page is preserved.
